"atletico de madrid’s fans are great, they are known for being some of the best fans in spain, but comparing to sporting’s, i can say that here, at least the fans are as amazing as in madrid. not to say better! i always give this example: when i arrived, at my first game, we were losing 2-0, but i saw the fans supporting all the time and that was what made us change the result for 2-3 in that game, in paços de ferreira. i will never forget their support in that moment and i thank them all, by the way."
